Selfcare Sundays: Some time to yourself

Life is a rollercoaster. Work, social obligations and that never-ending to-do list can sometimes consume us completely. Time for ourselves? That dangles somewhere at the bottom of the priority list. But that is about to change today. Because have you ever heard of Selfcare Sunday?


Why Selfcare Sunday?
Actually, we know best: selfcare is not a luxury, but a dire necessity in our busy lives. Staying healthy requires a good balance between performing and relaxing to reduce stress and give our bodies and minds a chance to recover.


And the best way to really prioritise this? That's by scheduling it. Dash through your diary, phone off: Sunday is your day. (Or Wednesday, or Friday if that suits you better, but you get the point.) And what better thing to do on such a Selfcare Sunday than to give your hair a lovely pamper? For a real pampering session, take your time. So do it step by step and with lots of love.


Step 1: Cleansing
The starting point of any hair care routine is a good cleanse. Choose a mild, sulphate-free shampoo that suits your hair type. During Selfcare Sundays, take some extra time to gently massage your scalp while applying the shampoo. This promotes blood circulation and stimulates hair growth.
